Lots of lovely stripes!!!

Well what do you know...its raining...again! Its been such a disappointing few weeks of weather, its so difficult to feel inspired by day after day of cold, damp, grey misery :-(. It's supposed to be summer!!!!!! I'd so hoped to do a car boot sale today as I seem to have acquired loooaaads of 'stuff' at my new found favourite place, the local auctions. Alas, tis not the weather for booting...fingers crossed for tomorrow morning instead.

Anyway...I have been pondering my Cath Kidston conundrum and think I have come up with a cute and un-costly solution...painted stripes.

Size of stripe and colour are still undecided...what a shocker!

I have been avidly following lots of my favourite blogs and its seems everyone is all about the stripes at the moment! Will post some lovely piccies once I figure out how too, ooo and will post some pictures of my current ugly duckling transformations = ugly dark brown furniture.

We've not been getting on lately, me and my Cath Kidston wall that is. Its not that I don't absolutely love it, but it's just not right...It make's our lounge look like a bedroom which is not the look I was going for at all! And I haven't been able to get the flutters right either...it's got to go...

But what to replace it with???

It takes me so long to decide on things that I fear this may take me as long as choosing the CK in the first place did...

Lists, lists and more lists...

I have this obsession with writing lists...

Things I have been writing lists for lately:

1. Shopping...naturally...this category has further sub categories;
a) groceries
b) clothes
c) accessories
d) things for the house
2. A daily to do list, one each for work and home.
4. A list of things I'm on the lookout for...side table, pretty fabric, vintage lace.
3. Lists of creative projects I want to start, finish, plan, etc.
4. Action plan lists for each room in the house...what needs doing, redoing, etc.
5. A list for weekends away...again sub categories;
a) romantic
b) big night out
c) family (in which case there are loads of other lists to go with this!)
d) girlie spa weekend
6. A holiday list...this also has sub categories;
a) things I already have
b) things I need to buy
c) things to do before holiday
7. I write lists for my boyfriend(he likes them...honestly), clean car...tick!
8. I write lists about lists...clearly!
9. And then there's my forever list!

If there were a dictionary definition for it it would say...Forever List...a list of dreams, aspirations and creative projects that the writer hopes one day to achieve.
